Quand l'Amour s'en mêle

Avant d'être un roman d'amour, il s'agit d'abord d'un roman sur l'excellence de l'Amour qui passe, malgré tout, à travers les drames si spécifiques à notre condition humaine : le mal existentiel, la maladie du corps et de l'âme, la mort qui entre sans frapper, les blessures et les traumatismes de la vie... La vie... Aussi belle soit-elle, celle-ci inflige parfois de douloureux revers, pour ne pas dire de cuisantes gifles. L'Amour est le remède à tous ces maux. Dans les événements, admirables et parfois cruels, qui sont contés dans ce roman, il reste au lecteur de la place pour son imagination, pour son propre regard intérieur : il peut s'introduire sur la scène, en spectateur silencieux qui se laissera entraîner à la suite de personnages attachants, émouvants et si profondément humains... Not exactly a love story, this is a novel about the excellence of the Love that is conveyed, against all odds, through the kind of tragedy that is so specific to our human condition: existential malaise, sickness of the body and the mind, death that enters without knocking, the wounds and traumatisms of life... Life... No matter how wondrous it may be, it does inflict painful experiences, even violent blows. Love is the remedy for all those ills. Yet very often, we end up doing what we don’t really want to do and abstain from acting as we would like to. In truth, we are victims of not being able to love. In this novel, the events - admirable or cruel – are recounted in such a way as to leave room for the readers’ imagination, their own inner vision.
